This program is funded by the Village of Schaumburg to assist homeowners in correcting code violations & addressing long over-due home repairs that affect the health or safety of their families. Homeowners may qualify for repair assistance for up to $30,000 and 0% interest forgivable loan.
*$20,000 limit for townhome and condominium properties.
Eligible improvements include:
Basic structural repairs, roof, doors, windows, electrical, plumbing, heating, and weatherization. Energy star materials are used where applicable. Households must meet income and other eligibility guidelines.
Suitable properties:
Single family homes, condominiums, townhomes. All jobs are completed by licensed and insured contractors.
