The Village of Carpentersville provides financial assistance for residents to address code, health, and safety violations.
Residents may qualify for 0% interest 5-year deferred loan.
Funds are provided through the Village of Carpentersville.
Eligibility
- Owner-occupied (no tenant/landlord)
- Up $25,000 for necessary repairs
- Current on mortgage and property taxes
- Have a household income at or below 80% area median income

- Roof replacement
- Electrical repairs
- Window replacement
- Furnaces/Hot water heater
- Door replacement
- Insulation
- Steps/porch repair
- Plumbing repairs

Funds may not be used for cosmetic work
