HOME IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
Administered by the non-profit North West Housing Partnership
This program is funded by the Village of Skokie. The program assists homeowners in correcting code violations & address long over-due home repairs that affect the health or safety of their families. Homeowners may qualify for repairs for up to $12,000 and 0% interest.
Eligible improvements include basic structural repairs, roof, doors, windows, electrical, plumbing, heating, and weatherization. Energy star materials are used where applicable. Households must meet income and other eligibility guidelines.
Suitable properties: Single family homes, condominiums, townhomes. All jobs completed by licensed and insured contractors.
